Fans are desperate to see her in any way that they can
Taylor Swift has announced that she will celebrate her birthday this year by releasing her Eras Tour concert film to stream on demand.
The film of her tour hit theatres in October and it caused a huge rush from fans to see it, and now they are going to be able to watch it as frequently as they like.
“Hi! Well, so, basically I have a birthday coming up and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home! Very happy to be able to tell you that the extended version of the film including “Wildest Dreams,” “The Archer” and “Long Live” will be available to rent on demand in the US, Canada & additional countries to be announced soon starting on … you guessed it, December 13,” Swift said on Twitter, or X.
There are a number of different streaming options for those that want to see it in the comfort of their own homes.
Her website says the film will be available on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, YouTube, Vudu and Xfinity.
The most recent show of her tour was in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She will be out of action now until 2024 when she travels to Tokyo, Japan, so that she can continue the tour that will eventually lead her into Europe.
While the Eras Tour’s actual runtime is over 3 hours and 15 minutes, the concert movie ran just 2 hours and 45 minutes, so several fan-favorite tracks didn’t make the final cut. For the digital release, though, Swift is including some of them.
